Q3-A person who has had a bypass operation is it permissible for him to do Tayammum? Note-Please try to provide answers with reference if possible Jazakumullah Wassalaam

Answer:

1) Unfortunately we are unable to pass a verdict with regards to performing Sajdah on a walking stick. However we would advise him to perform his Sajdah by making gestures, since he has been granted permission by the Shari’ah to do so. By performing the Sajdah with gestures one can feel assured that the Salaah is correct. Due to his inability to make Sajdah, he cannot be the Imam of a people who are capable of performing all the principles of Salaah properly. (Raddul Muhtaar, Vol. 2, Page 568-569)

2) If he is certain or informed by a well versed Muslim doctor that the usage of water for Wudhu purposes is detrimental to his health, then it will be permissible for him to make Tayammum. (Ad-Durrul Mukhtaar, Vol. 1, Page 396-397)
