Asalam u alaikum, I would like to know that if a person gets a job and gets some time in it, wherein he could recite some Qur’an, is it possible for him to recite Qur’an? A friend of mine says that he can not recite Qur’an while in duty even though he gets idle time. please send your reply in this regard as early as possible. Thanks

In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent and the Most Merciful
If one is free from his official duty and engaged in reciting Qur’an or any other work which could be discontinued when necessary, there is a leeway of doing so but it is not correct to engage in recitation of Qur’an and suspend official duty while there is need in engaging in duty.
