What is the difference between Tahajud and Qiyamul Layl? Does one have to sleep for Tahajud?

Both “Tahajud” and “Qiyamul Layl” are used to refer to the prayer performed after the Isha Salah. It is understood from this that both of them are names of the same prayer. Whereas, there is no need to sleep and then wake up before performing the Tahajud prayer.
