Can I take medicine to delay my period during Ramadan?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Darulifta-Deoband.com
Is it lawful to have medicine to delay menstrual cycle during Ramadan to complete all the fast and perform Eitikaf?

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

(Fatwa: 1261/860/L=11/1434)

There is no need to stop natural routines as sometime it causes other illness. Hence there is no need to do so and Shariah has not entrusted us to do so. However, if a woman does so and does not experience blood then she shall be considered pure (tahir) and it shall be lawful for her to keep fast or sit in Eitikaf.
