Is it permissible for a man or a woman to marry a hermaphrodite?

It is not permissible as per Shari’ah for any man or woman to marry a hermaphrodite whose male and female sexual characteristics are equal (i.e. خنثی مشکل). However, such a hermaphrodite whose male characteristics are dominant is considered as a male as per Shari’ah, due to which it will permissible for a woman to get married him. Similarly, such a hermaphrodite whose female characteristics are dominant is considered female, and it is permissible for a man to marry her.
