Let it be known that in the terminology of majority of the Muhaddiseen, the word “Hadees” is used for such quotes which are referred to sayings, actions and approvals/acknowledgements of the Holy Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam.Whereas, Hadees e Qudsi are such quotes which are expressed by the Holy Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam, referring them to be of Allah, the Almighty.
