Is this Hadith authentic?
انا الشجاع الاقرع امرني ربي ان اضربك على تضييع الصلاة
Answer:
This is part of the lengthy narration which explains the virtues of safeguarding one’s Salah and the punishments for discarding Salah.
(Refer: Az Zawajir ‘An Iqtirafil Kabair, vol. 1 pg. 226)
However, the Hadith has been declared as fabrication by the Hadith Masters like Hafiz Dhahabi and Hafiz Ibn Hajar (rahimahumallah). This Hadith cannot be quoted.
