Forgiveness of Minor sins

It is mentioned in this Hadith that sins are forgiven if you say the du’a before sleeping, does it include both major and minor sins?

Answer:

As a rule, when we are promised forgiveness of sins for certain deeds or recitals, it should be understood as the minor sins, unless stated otherwise.

For forgiveness of major sins, one usually has to engage in active tawbah (repentance).
