Assalamualaikum,
I had a question about Jumuah Salaah. How many people are needed other than the Imaam for the Friday Jumuah Salaah? I’ve read three other than the Imaam and two other than the Imaam so I don’t know which it is.

الجواب وباللہ التوفیق
For the establishment of Jumu’ah in addition to the Imaam, the presence of three Muqtadis is necessary, without this condition to be true, the Jumu’ah is not correct. (احسن الفتاویٰ : ۴/۱۴۳)
السادس الجماعۃ: وأقلہا ثلاثۃ رجال، ولو غیر الثلاثۃ الذین حضروا الخطبۃ سوی الإمام بالنص؛ لأنہ لابد من الذکر وہو الخطیب وثلاثۃ سواہ بنص فاسعوا إلی ذکر اللہ۔ (شامي ۳؍۲۴ زکریا)
