Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) offered ‘Aaishah (radiyallahu ‘anha) milk

I would like to know what is the strength of the narration wherein it is mentioned that Nabi (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) gave Sayyidah ‘Aaishah (radiyallahu ‘anha) milk to drink on the first night of nikah.

Answer

Imam Ahmad (rahimahullah) has recorded the narration with an acceptable chain, which states that Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) drank milk and then offered Sayyidah ‘Aaishah (radiyallahu ‘anha) when she came to him.

(Musnad Ahmad, vol. 6 pg. 438 and vol. 6 pg. 458. Refer: Majma’uz Zawaid, vol. 4 pg. 51)

And Allah Ta’ala Knows best.
