‘Umar’s (radiyallahu ‘anhu) respect towards the wives of Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam)

Is the chain for this narration sahih?

Aslam (rahimahullah), the slave of Sayyiduna ‘Umar (radiyallahu ‘anhu), reports that Sayyiduna ‘Umar (radiyallahu ‘anhu) had nine platters reserved for sending gifts to the Azwaj Mutahharat (respected wives of Rasulullah sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam).

Whenever any delicacy, fruit or meat would come to Sayyiduna ‘Umar (radiyallahu ‘anhu), then he would make nine shares, place them on the nine platters and send them to the respected wives of Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam). He would first send the platters to the other wives and would send the platter of his beloved daughter, Sayyidah Hafsah (radiyallahu ‘anha), last. At times, if there was a slight shortage in any platter, he would send this platter to his daughter, Hafsah (radiyallahu ‘anha) [and ensure that the other wives of Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) received the full platters.]
