An unreliable narration on joining family ties

Is this narration authentic?

It is mentioned in a narration: “Whoever guarantees me one thing, I will guarantee four things for him; Guarantee me that you join ties, I will guarantee the following, Your family will love you, your sustenance will be increased, your lifespan will be increased and Allah will enter you in to Jannah.”

Answer:

‘Allamah Suyuti (rahimahullah) has cited this narration in his book on fabricated Hadiths. The Hadith is not suitable to quote.

(Dhaylul La-Alil Masnu’ah, vol. 2 pg. 577, Hadith: 698)

The following Hadiths should be quoted instead:

1) Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said:

“Learn about your family lineage and roots so that you may join family ties, for family ties brings love in the family, increases one’s wealth and brings barakah to/increases one’s life”

(Sunan Tirmidhi, Hadith: 1979. See here)

2) Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said:

“Whoever wishes to have his provision increased or his life lengthened should maintain ties of kinship.”

(Sahih Bukhari, Hadith: 2067 and Sahih Muslim, Hadith: 2557. See here)

And Allah Ta’ala Knows best.
