Question:
Is there any need for an Imaam to make use of the microphone to amplify his voice during Salaah if all the Musallees can comfortably hear his voice for the entire duration of the Salaah without the use of any microphone?

One should refrain from using a microphone in Ṣalāh when there is no need for it. In fact, it will be better to follow this simple way shown to us by Rasūlullāh H (i.e. Ṣalāh without a microphone) at all times.
نماز میں آلۂ مکبر الصوت کے استعمال میں بہت سےمفاسد ہیں، اس لئے اس سے اجتناب کیا جائے،اور سنت کے سیدھے سادے طریقے پر آواز کو دور تک پہنچانے کیلئےمکبرین کا انتظامکیا جائے، لیکن اگر کسی جگہ آلۂ مکبر الصوت پر نماز ادا کرلی گئی تو نماز فاسدواجب الاعادہ نہیں ہے، اور استعمال کرنیوالوں کو کم از کم یہ لازم ہے کہ مکبرین کاپورا انتظام رکھیں کیونکہ علماء کی ایک جماعت اس کو مفسد قرار دیتی ہے ان کے خلافسے خروج کی فکر کرنا چاہئے۔ (آلات جدیدہ کے شرعی احکام مفتی محمد شفیع عثمانیرحمہ اللہ ص۲۸)
