Imam Abu Bakr ibn Abid Dunya (rahimahullah) has recorded this as the statement of the famous Tabi’i, Ibrahim An Nakha’i (rahimahullah).

Translation
Two things will lead to a man’s destruction; surplus wealth and excessive [unnecessary] chatter.
