Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Mahmoodiyah

Question:

Assalamualaikum

I would like to ask about the Credit card scenario today we are using. I want to get a Credit Card from one of the commercial bank which is not practicing Islamic banking . Is it permissible to use the card without interest has been charged on you. Because if we pay our bill before the credit duration(1 month) only the actual money is taken away + 2.5% services charges on every transaction.
Please answer me in detail if the Islamic bank have the scheme of credit card then what will be the scenario?

Answer:

It will be permissible to benefit from the use of a commercial bank credit card if the card holder is confident that he will pay the bills within the specified period before any interest becomes due on it.  (Contemporary Fataawaa, Page 117)
