An unauthentic reward for performing Tarawih Salah

Is the following Hadith authentic?

Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said:

“Whomsoever reads Salah at night [in Ramadan], will get one thousand five hundred [1500] rewards for each sajdah, and Allah will build for him a house in Jannah from rubies which will have sixty thousand [60 000] doors. Each door leads to a gold palace embedded with red rubies… “

Answer

Imam Bayhaqi (rahimahullah) has recorded this narration. However this Hadith is transmitted via a narrator who has been accused of fabricating Hadith. The Hadith should not be quoted.

(Shu’abul Iman, Hadith: 3362. Al Kamil, vol. 9 pg. 366, Tahdhibut Tahdhib, vol. 9 pg. 436, Al Mughni Fid Du’afa, vol. 2 pg. 371, and Taqribut Tahdhib, 6284)

Note: Tarawih in itself is a proven sunnah of Rasulullah (sallallahu’alayhi wasallam). There are other authentic virtues for it in the Hadith.

And Allah Ta’ala Knows best
