An unauthentic Hadith regarding those who will enter Jannah directly

Is this Hadith authentic?

Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said:

Some people from the nation of Muhammad (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) will go directly to Jannah after rising from their graves. Angels will say to them: “Were you called to account?” “No, we did not go through any accounting.” “Did you cross the Sirat [Bridge]?” “No, we did not see it.” “Did you see Jahannam?” “No, we did not see it, either.”  The Angels will ask, “What deed did you do that you came directly to Jannah without being called to account and crossing the Sirat?” “We did possess two traits, whereby we have attained this blessing: We were ashamed of Allah and never committed sins in private. Secondly, we used to be pleased with a little sustenance that Allah gave us.” The Angels will say, “These blessings are your due.”

(Ibn Hibban)

Answer

Imam Ibn Hibban (rahimahullah) has recorded this Hadith with variation in the wording in his book on discredited narrators.

(Kitabul Majruhin Minal Muhaddithin, vol. 1 pg. 322. Also see Ithafus Sadah Al Muttaqin, vol. 9 pg. 650)

‘Allamah ‘Iraqi (rahimahullah) has declared a narrator extremely weak. He states that this Hadith is munkar and contradicts the Quran.

(Al Mughni ‘An Hamlil Asfar, Hadith : 4197)

The Hadith is not suitable to quote.

And Allah Ta’ala Knows best.
