Concern about the dunya is darkness and concern for the Hereafter is light

What is the source of this narration?

همُّ الدنيا ظلمة في القلب وهمُّ الآخرة نور في القلب

Answer:

Imam Abu Bakr ibn Abid Dunya (rahimahullah) has recorded this as the statement of Ja’far ibn Sulayman, Abu Sulayman Al Basri, a Tab’ut Tabi’i.

(Dhammud Dunya, Hadith: 467)

Translation

Worry and concern about this world is a darkness in the heart and worry and concern about the Hereafter is a light in the heart

And Allah Ta’ala Knows best.
