Women cannot pray or go to the mosque during their monthly courses.

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by DarulUloomTT.net

Question:

Salaams,

Seeing that women cannot pray or go to the mosque during their monthly courses I was wondering if that time falls during one of the sacred days like Lailultul qadr will they lose the blessings of 1000 nights? Is there anything they can do to make up,and does the hadith literature say anything about it?

Answer:

Wa Alaikum as Salaam,

Although women cannot pray in this state, they can engage themselves in dhikr and dua during such sacred days and nights. In this way, they can achieve the great blessings of these nights and days. Going to the masjid is not necessary, nor essential for women. In fact, it is more virtuous and rewarding that they remain at home to do their acts of Ibadah (worship), whether these are compulsory or optional.
