Question: Salams dear mufti.
Today I was fasting to thank Allah for something I have asked for. I have promised to fast one day in order to thank him. Unfortunately my fast was broken due to the time of the month. Do I have to still make up this fast or does this fast consider done? Jazak Allah khair.

Wa alaikum As Salaam,
You still have to make up for this fast, since it was not done as yet. (Kitabul Fatwa vol. 3 pg. 405 Zam Zam Publishers Karachi)
