Cutting/Clipping Hair/Nails For Someone Doing Qurbani

Question: When should we stop cutting the hair and nails?

Answer: Assalamu Alaikum,
A person should have stopped doing this on Thursday 25th September (night) when the new moon was sighted to commence the month of Dhul Hijjah.He will the begin to cut/trim hair/nails when he sacrifices his animal in the 10th of Dhul Hijjah. This action however, is only Mustahab (commendable).
