To give zakat to a relative who is poor but is too proud to accept 


 Answer:

If a person gives zakat to his poor relatives and makes the intention of zakat but says that it is a loan and then later forgives it, then this is correct and the zakat will be discharged. (Fatawa Rahimiyah p.112 v.3)
