Question

Will the people of Jannah have body hair like they do in this world? What about hair on head and beard?

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Answer:

There are many Ahadith regards to the descriptions of Heaven, the rivers of Heaven, the tree trunks of Heaven, the inmates of Heaven, the age of the people of Heaven, and many more.

However, regards to the hair of the body, hair and the beard of the inhabitants of Heaven, Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah ( رضى الله عنه )narrated  that Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said;

“The people of Jannah will enter Jannah without any hair on their body, beardless, with a fair complexion and curly hair, having collyrium in their eyes, aged thirty-three years; and they will be in the form of Adam(عليه السلام), sixty cubits tall, and seven cubits wide”.[1]

The same Hadith has been narrated by Sayyiduna Muaz Bin Jabal [2] ( رضى الله عنه ) and Sayyiduna Anas Bin Malik ( رضى الله عنه ) [3].

Only Allah knows best.
