Question
A Masbooq forgets that he has missed some Rak’aats and he makes salaam with the Imam, what is the position of his Salaah?

Answer:
If he made the salam by mistake then he should continue his prayer as long as he has not done any action that is opposite of the prayer such as talking or eating. He should also make a sajdah sahw at the end. (Ibn Abideen, Radd al-Muhtar, vol. 5, pg. 516; Fatawa Mahmudiyyah, vol. 6. pg. 552).
