Question

Is it true that dua gets accepted at the time of rain?

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Answer:

It was narrated by Sahl ibn Sa’d: The Prophet (ﷺ) said: Two (duas) are not rejected, or seldom rejected: Dua at the time of the Azan, and (dua) at the time of battle when the people grapple with each other. Musa said: Rizq ibn Sa’id ibn Abdur Rahman reported from Abu Hazim on the authority of Sahl ibn Sa’d from the Prophet (ﷺ) as saying: And while it is raining.[1]

Based on the addition to the hadith above we can say, it is established that duas are accepted during the time of rain.

Only Allah knows best
