Question
What is the ruling of praying behind an imam who reads from a Quran during the prayer? What if the Quran is on the stand and he doesn’t hold it or turn the page during the salah? So, he reads one page per rakah?

In the aforementioned scenario, one Salah will become invalid by reading from the Mushaf even though he may not be holding it as one is being inspired by an external element (talaqiy) (Raddul Muhtar p.384 v.2)
