Concious during Wet Dream

Question

Assalamualaikum. Hazrat, Last night, I had a wet dream, but something I re-call quite clearly, I sort of stimulated myself, so I ejaculate, but I was still in sleep mode. I am quite clear about this because otherwise, I'd like to think I would have restrained myself. Given what's happened is my fast still valid? If not is qadah, and kaffarah required?

Answer

Your fast is valid and there is no need for Qadah and Kaffarah.

The reason being is that a person is still considered as sleeping until he gains control over his conscious therefore the normal ruling of having a wet dream whilst your fasting applies.

The Prophet (P.B.U.H)  said:

عن علي : أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال رفع القلم عن ثلاثة عن النائم حتى يستيقظ وعن الصبي حتى يشب وعن المعتوه حتى يعقل

Responsibility is lifted from three people: The one who is asleep until he wakes up,  the child until he becomes a young man, and who is insane till he regains his sanity.[2]
