Question

Is it permissible to follow another school of thought’s ruling on Hurmah al-Musaharah due to the fact that it is very difficult to follow the Hanafi ruling for me?

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Answer

It is not permissible for a person to pick and choose the views of different madhhabs for different issues based upon their personal ease. One should adhere to one madhhab.[1]

The rulings of hurmah al-musaharah are present in all the madhhabs. One must adhere to the rulings of hurmah al-musaharah in their madhhab.

Only Allah Ta’ala knows best.
