Working for Next

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by DarulIftaBirmingham

Question

I would like to ask you some questions:

1) is it permissible to work at Next directory? This job requires a person to answer calls and deal with queries I know that there is nothing wrong with doing that but the Next company charge interest on something’s and they sell alcohol so it is permissible to work for them even though I am not going to be touching or selling alcohol or writing down any interest. my job is more of a customer service role: to just answer calls and queries.

Also is it permissible to get benefits (job seekers allowance)?
