Bleeding after uterus is removed

Question:

Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullah

Bleeding after having the uterus removed would be istihaadhah? No more haidh?

Answer:

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

Haidh is the blood that comes from a uterus (also called the womb). Any bleeding that occurs after the removal of the uterus will be considered to be istihaadah (dysfunctional uterine/vaginal bleeding).[1]

Only Allah Ta’ala knows best.
