Question:

I want to know if some drops of semen are found in madhi liquid, is obligatory to make ghusl?

Answer

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

There are three types of discharges;

  1. Madhi (pre-coital fluid), is a thin clear liquid which is discharged at the time of arousal without ejaculation. This necessitates Wudu on emission.

  2. Wadhi is a white cloudy thick fluid which has no smell and is discharged either before or after urinating. This necessitates Wudu on emission.

  3. Mani (sperm) is a white thick fluid which is discharged at the time of ejaculation. This necessitates Ghusl on emission.

(Hashiat Tahtawi pg: 100)

Regarding your question from the above information we can conclude that only mani necessitates ghusl on emission, however, there are mitigating circumstances like if a person is ma’zoor etc. if you need more clarity email us back with more information for a specific ruling.

Only Allah knows best.
