Assalamu alekum, I would like to know whether one has to pay the Din Meher at the time of Nikah,i.e, first time when husband meets his wife or is it that he can pay afterwards? 2)If he pays the Din Meher afterwards ,is it allowed for him to talk or have any physical contact with her?Answer can be given in Urdu also.

If the mahr (dower) is not mu’ajjal (immediately payable) it is not necessary to pay it, it can be paid later. Also, husband can talk to her before paying the dower. However, if the mahr is mu’ajjal (immediately payable) and your wife does not permit you to have intercourse before she receives her mahr, then she has the right.
