Assalam Alaikum janab Mufti Sahab My Question is regarding a Yateem Girl she is living with her aunty (Khaala) her cousin is taking care of her needs means studies etc. is it valid to spend zakat amount on her studies please reply in the light of Quraan & Ahadees Jazak Allah Khair

If the orphan girl is entitled to receive zakah, she can receive zakah. The cousin should first give the amount in her possession, then she can spend it in her education and her other necessities.
