ASSALAMU ALAIKUM I own a property overseas which my father has leased out to a large supermarket chain for a period of 10 years. At the time the property was leased out my father was aware ( although i was not} that the supermarket would be selling, amoung other things, pork-based food products and liquor on the premises for its non-muslim clients.my question is “can the rental income from this lease be considered halal? The haram products I have mentioned form only a small part of the supermarkets stock. the rental income I derive from this property is significant and I wish to use all or part of this if the income is halal. Jazakallah Khair

As per the abovementioned question, the income earned from that property is makrooh (undesirable) i.e. it is not better for you to use it yourself.
