Did Prophet pbuh make a dua not to give money to his descendants? Does this apply to all Syeds until Qayamah?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Darulifta-Deoband.com
As Salamu alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu, Moulana i have heard that Our beloved Prophet pbuh had made dua not to give more money to his progeny – so that they dont indulge in this world too much. Is this true? If its true, then does this apply to all the Syed’s (i mean till Qayamah)? Please explain in detail. Jazakallah Khair

There is evidence that the holy Prophet Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم) supplicated in the following words:

اللهم احيني مسكينا و أمتني مسكيناً و احشرني في زمرة المساكين.

?O Allah let me live as poor and let me die as poor, and raise me among the poor.?

As for his progeny, I do not remember any dua which applies all the sayyids (until the Day of Judgment).
