Halal Status of a Maktab Collecting Qurbani Skins Without Providing Food and Accommodation

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Darulifta-Deoband.com
I am a maktab member in masjid. In our maktab they are conducting classes for school students in morning and evening. It is not a full time maktab, but they collected qurbani skins for the development. Is it halal though they are not providing any food and accommodation to students?

The price of the skin of qurbani is just like zakah i.e. it becomes wajib to give its price in sadaqah as well as to give into complete possession of the poor. Hence it is not lawful to use the price of skin to meet the needs of the maktab or pay the salary of teachers.
