Can Prophet Mohammed SAW’s name justify slaughter? Quran/Hadith evidence?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Darulifta-Deoband.com
1. We would like to know that on the name of Prophet Mohammed SAW slaughtering is allowed or not. 2. If it is allowed then can we have an evidence (Quaran/Hadith) documents for our reference?

(Fatwa: 1335/1335/M=11/1434)

It is lawful to do qurbani on behalf of Hadhrat Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم) and its reward shall reach the holy Prophet Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم), and the sacrifice is done in the name of Allah. The holy Prophet Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم) made a will to Hadhrat Ali (رضي الله عنه) for qurbani, so Hadhrat Ali (رضي الله عنه) used to do qurbani on behalf of Hadhrat Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم). The reference is here:
عن حنش رح قال رأيت علياً رضى الله عنه يضحى بكبشين فقلت له: ما هذا؟ فقال: إن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم أوصانى أن أضحى عنه فأنا أضحى عنه رواه ابوداؤد وروى الترمذى نحوه (مشكوة ص 128 باب فى الأضحية)
