Can false nails be worn by a married woman for valid ghusl, despite nail-biting?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Darulifta-Deoband.com
Here a married woman has habit of eating nails up to that extent even blood comes out of fingers. She applied bitter medicines but in vain. Can she use false nails? Please reply in the light of hadith with false nails her ghusl would be valid or invalid. The false nails can be worn or not? What she can do? Please reply.

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

(Fatwa: 962/B-200/TB=1434)

It is an ordinary habit and one can get rid of it easily or with a bit difficulty. If false nails are fixed which may be removed at the time of wudhu and ghusl then it shall be necessary to remove them for wudhu and ghusl. However, it shall not be allowed to wear false nails due to the said excuse.
