Lenghtening Ruku for Latecomer

Q: If the imam is in ruku and he hears someone coming to join the salaah can he lenghten the ruku so that that person can get the rakaat?
 

A:If he knows the person coming then it is not permissible to lenghten the ruku. However if he does not know who is coming then he may lenghten the ruku.
