Q: If a lady has a 7 month old baby who is breastfed, and her husband has the money to take her for Hajj, would she be sinful if she does not go with the sole reason that the baby is breastfed?
A:If it is a small child and there is no one else to look after it, then this is a valid reason to delay the Haj, immaterial whether the child is healthy or not. (Mu’allimul Hujjaaj P75)
