Q: After keeping a few fasts I feel I need to miss one to get the energy again and recharge myself as I feel my whole body especially my legs start to ache. Is this allowed in Islam? The reason why I feel I have to do this is because I start to feel very weak and giving myself a break helps me get back my strength again.
A: It is not correct to miss a fast in Ramadaan except at the time of dire necessity. You could take some energy tonic or energy drink to help you cope with the fast.
