Q: Are the modern day flu shots permissible? I’ve heard that it contains pork but I didn’t find any active ingredient that was pork-related and I haven’t heard anything from the ulema in regards to it being haraam.
A: We are not aware of the ingredients. If it contains a Haraam ingredient it will not be permissible because there are other Halaal substitutes on the market.
