Q: If donors give us advanced Zakah before their due date (like Zakah for 2015), can we invest that money for now to cover our expenses, and distribute the moeny when the due date comes?
A: Such money may only be invested with the consent and permission of the donors. Otherwise not. Also, should any loss occur in the investment, members of your organisation shall be held responsible and will have to replace the losses.
