Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Askimam.org

Assalaamu Alaykum, Respected Brother in Islam. All praise is due to the Almighty Allah for having made it possible for you to be able to assist Muslims in the excellent manner in which you do.My question is in regard the proper procedures in terms of Shariah to be followed at the death of a male of Muslim birth, whom it is known to have followed a gay/homosexual lifestyle. Please include in your answer details concerning: 1) Who should be informed of his death. 2) Procedure for the ghusl of the body of such a person.( Whether it differs from normal) 3) The salaah to be performed (if at all) on the body and where to perform salaah. (Whether it differs from normal salaatul janaazah for male) 4) The place where such a person should be buried. (Whether it differs from normal) 5) The procedure at the graveside. (Whether it differs from normal) Jazakallah Khair. May Allah reward you for your efforts, Insha-allah.

Answer

The person under discussion is as mentioned a Muslim male by birth. Hence,
this person is and will always be a male no matter what kind of lifestyle
and at the time of death will be carried out like a normal Muslim male. The
ghusl, Kafan, Janaaza and all other procedures at the cemetery will be
normal.
