Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Askimam.org

1.What is Dua-e-Ashurah. It is It is also reported that who ever recites Dua-e-Ashurah on the tenth day of Muharram any time after sunrise and before sunset or listens to its recitation from someone else, Allah will certainly make it an insurance for a year’s life for that person by keeping death away from such person. However, if one is to become the victim of death in that year, they will by some strange coincidence not remember to recite it. Is it true. Can I have the Dua-e-Ashurah along with complete translation in English. 2Is there any specific prayer to be recited in the month of Rajab and night of the 26th day of Rajab 3.It is reported that Nafl fast can be kept on any day in a year accept six days which are prohibited. Answer

1. This is the first time I have come across such a Du’aa. If you could perhaps furnish me with such reference, I would greatly appreciate it.

2. There is no specific prayer for this night.

3. The two days of Eid and the four days after Eid-ul-Adhaa.

4. The Salaat is as normal. The only difference is that in the second Rakaat, Qunoot is recited after the Ruku with both the hands raised in Du’aa.
