One afternoon a black crow died in my backyard…1). Does this event have any significance?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Askimam.org

One afternoon a black crow died in my backyard. After a few minutes, my whole backyard was covered with crows. The next morning a few crows left. This continued for 3 days, then they all left. Then my gardener buried the dead crow. I was very afraid. (1). Does this event have any significance? (2) Also what does it mean when a cat cries at night by your window? (3) Can we kill spiders etc making webs inside the home? (4) Is it ok to spray repellent in my garden so that dogs and cats do not go there?

Answer

1. The incident of the crow dying and other crows coming is insignificant. There is no reason for you to be afraid.

2. The crying of a cat has no Shar’ee significance.

3. It is permissible to kill spiders in one’s home.

4. It is permissible to spray repellent in your garden to avoid cats and dogs.
