Reading of surah Yassen 41 times which I have heard from Ulema brings you back something if you have lost it and many benifits. Is this bidah?

Some people charachterize this as bidah. Which I dont believe, unless you make it fard, wajib, or sunnah it s not considered as bidah according to my limited knowledge. Jazakulllah

Answer:

Through the experience of our pious predecessors the reading of Surah Yaseen 41 times has been known to be very beneficial in many situation. It is not a Bid?at practice until taken to be Fardh or Waajib.
