Answer:
Yes, it will be permissible, if for example, a person has a great desire to meet Allah, then he could make Du’aa for Allah Ta’ala to shorten one’s life.
Also, this Du’aa could be made, ?O Allah, keep me alive so long as living is better for me and give me death if death is better for me.? (Bukhari)
