wass-sultanul- muslim-e-zillul-lahe fil ard man ahana sultanal-lahe ahanahullah”. please let me know if it is a hadith & where it is from

Answer

The second part, ‘Man ahaana sultaanallaah .’ is recorded by Imaam Tirmidhi
in his Sunan.

The entire sentence is also recorded by the following scholars of Hadith in
their works, with slight variations: Imaam Ahmad in his Masnad, vol.5 pg.42,
pg.49; al-Bayhaqi in Shu’ubul Imaan Hadith7373.

Also refer to majma-uz-zawaaid vol.5 pg.215 and Faydhul Qadeer vol.4 pg.182
