Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Askimam.org

It went kind of like this: “Ya Nabiyyun SalaamuAlayka……….” What is this? Are we supposed to say this or join in the recitation?

Answer

This is an innovation prevalent in India. One should not join in such acts
of bidah.
